Miniature English Bulldog
As the breed’s name connotes, the Miniature English Bulldog was developed as a miniaturized version of the English Bulldog. Appearing with a smooth, short coat in a variety of colors ranging from fawn, to black, to white, the most recognized feature of the Miniature English Bulldog remains the short muzzle found accenting the breed’s slightly oversized head. A square, stocky stature causes the breed’s gait to resemble that of a waddle. Miniature English Bulldogs are both doting and people-oriented, making especially reliable, steadfast companions. Living situations with a small yard for exercise suit this breed best. Originating sometime during the 1980’s, these tiny replicas offer the lovable features of an original favorite, in an alternate, compacted version. Standing 12-14" in height, Miniature English Bulldogs grow to reach 20-40lbs. in weight once fully mature, with a lifespan of 12-15 years of age.
