Puggle
The Puggle is a mid-sized, hybrid breed of dog achieved through the selective breeding between a Pug and a Beagle. Relatively recently developed, this crossbreed can be seen in a variety of solid or multi-colors, including shades of tan, black, and white; sometimes with a black mask like that of the Pug’s. Most Puggles can be seen sporting the Beagle’s floppy ears, and longer, larger body size. As the breed’s varying, inconsistent lineage connotes, the Puggle litter varies greatly in appearance, and greatly depends upon which traits prove inherently predominant in the offspring. The Puggles’ tail generally grows to reach the same length as a Beagle’s, while curling up and over to meet the dog’s back, similar to that of the Pug’s. Puggles are an energetic, and athletic breed, known for their silly, playful disposition and outgoing personality. The Puggles' compact size and good-natured temperament well- suit the breed for life in homes or apartments with or without families, children, or other types of pets, though a small to medium sized yard is will provide the Puggle with proper room to exercise and expel their excess energy. The average Puggle grows to reach 10-15” in height at the shoulders, weighing in between 20-35lbs.
