Bolonka Breeders

Bolonka - The Bolonka is a new breed of toy dog re-discovered in Russia after the fall of Communism, but can possibly be dated back to the early 18th century. They are a smaller type dog from the Louis IV courts and were presented to Russian nobility as gifts. The Bolonka is a curly coated breed that evolved similar to the present day Bichon Frise except it is much smaller. This breed originated from small, sturdy, balanced dogs. It is slightly longer than height at withers.
